Article VIII, Proclamation & Reformation
Ahem!
It is with a humble heart that we, The Preservation Society Board of Dictatorial Governance, unabashedly battering ram the self-imposed caution tape that has, for so long, barred access to our ranks.
Too many moons have set since our dissolution. Too many great deeds have been done sans banner overhead. It is time that our members reunite under our colors. Hats high in hands, let us resume our reckless self-promotion.
The Preservation Society Board of Dictatorial Governance does henceforth pledge to lead our future members toward the horizon. This new commitment is made with no reciprocal expectations other than a pledge of all-consuming service --and your annual dues, of course. Don't forget about the dues.
Here’s to the desertion of certainty in pursuit of murkier waters!
Here’s to adding to the glistening pot of annual dues paid to keep our hair slick, if you know what we mean!
Here’s to setting sail on our very own proverbial Titanic! May there be an extra for door for poor Jack to cling to as Rose hogs her own!
And here's to shoving Jack into the icy deep of the Atlantic as we sail off with the beauty ourselves!
Without due consultation, consideration, or consent of Robert’s Rules of Order, The Preservation Society Board of Dictatorial Governance is hereby reinstated. All former Members in good standing are reinstated at their previous rank and are thereby entitled to all corresponding rights and privileges. Conversely, all Backslidden Deviants are to remain in the cold with their sooty noses pressed to the window from which our golden light emanates.
Welcome back, you salty crew!
Forward to the horizon we shall never reach!
